In the context of the research project Memoria in the Megacity: Memory, Urbanity and Gender in Latin America” (Mexico City, Buenos Aires), the study focused on traumatic memory processes of political oppression in several Latin-American cities.

The research project “Gender and Mobility” dealt with women’s and other discriminated groups’ mobility in Latin American societies. The intersection of gender, ethnicity and inequality was the main research interest.

The research project “Transnational Political Public Spaces” investigated the participation of Mexican migrants in different political spaces between Mexico and the USA. Qualification project for teaching in higher education of Dr. Stephanie Schütze.

The research project “Circulation of Knowledge” focused on the production of knowledge in Latin America through the analysis of different configurations of global and local knowledge.
