This project falls within the area of thought about the arts that has been developing in Latin America for several decades. Within this area, the precise problem states that it attempts to address has to do with the forms of representation of the arts on the international stage, which is also to say, about the look of the "Latin American" that takes place in the international sphere of arts through major international exhibitions. The proposal will address the conceptual frameworks of some of them, only those which occurred in Europe and the United States during the decades of the eighties and nineties, reaching a case study dating back to 2000.
