In 2014, Brazilian social scientist Bruno Miranda participated in the program “Between Spaces” and spent several months at the institute in Berlin. He considers this stay to be valuable for the thematic and methodological unfurling of his thesis in which he dealt with the labor conditions of Bolivian migrants in São Paulo. A short while ago, he was rewarded with a prize for the best Ph.D. thesis 2016 by the Mexican Academy of the Sciences.
