Bachelor in History. M.A in History by Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul - PUCRS, and PhD Student by the same institution. His workfields include: Global and Comparative  History, Peruvian History, Brazilian History, 19th Century History.

At Freie Universität he conducts studies on comparative history between Peru and Brazil in 19th Century (1840-1880), focused on economic and political aspects of the construction of national sovereignty.
