We are happy to announce that Mariana Motta Vivian, PhD fellow of the second generation at the International Research Training Group "Temporalities of Future", has successfully completed her doctorate in Sociology with the thesis Democracies, Modernities and the Temporalities of Future in Latin America: Sociological Interpretations of Contemporary Brazil, on August 31, 2026, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Sérgio Costa.
