News from Feb 11, 2021

Parallel to increasing Brazilian agro-industrial exports and their growing economic importance, social movements in urban and rural settings are fighting collectively for food sovereignty. The Brazilian “hinterland” has become a space that is characterized by new and old social, economic, and ecological conflicts. What are the current developments? Which alternatives and new scenarios can be identified?

Food for Justice organized this event together with the partner organizations as part of the Digital Event Series "Brazil in Multiple Crisis Mode". Renata Motta and Nicolas Goez moderated the panel discussion with the four guests from Brazil. The entire event is available on Youtube.
