The project examines the network of state and non-state, national and international actors, who are involved in the production of internal security in transformational and developing countries. On the basis of a comparative and micro-analytic investigation of the security services in a total of four districts of Buenos Aires and Mexico City. Research will examine the conditions in which security agencies operate, including their public, legal, and governance dimensions.
