This workshop addresses the relationship between the poetical works of Brazilian modernist poets and their manifold works in prose. Attention is focused on their journalistic output, especially on the genre of light, conversational writing called crônica by
authors such as Manuel Bandeira, Oswald de Andrade, Cecília Meireles and Carlos Drummond de Andrade.
