We are happy to announce that Belén Díaz Armas, alumna of the IRTG "Temporalities of Future", has been awarded a postdoctoral position at the Department of Sociology at the Latin American Institute at Freie Universität Berlin. Her postdoc project is entitled: "'May Peace Not Cost Us Our Lives'. Necrocapitalism and Hope in Turbulent Times".

She also will be teaching in the Master's degree programme at the Institute for Latin American Studies. This summer semester, she is offering the following courses, which are still open for registration:

Wed, 16-18 hrs:"The Far Right also Laughs and Reads? The Global Right From Brazil and Latin America"

Thu, 16-18 hrs: "Laboratory of Hope: Necrocapitalism and Militarization in Turbulent Times"
