Dr. Carmen Ibáñez, a postdoctoral graduate of the CIG “Temporalities of the Future”, was recently interviewed on the radio program Mundo Migrante, hosted by Carolina Arenes and broadcast in Buenos Aires on La Once Diez – Radio Ciudad AM 1110. The program offers a comprehensive approach to the phenomenon of migration, exploring it through social, cultural, and historical dimensions.

 During the interview, Dr. Ibáñez discussed her book “Consecuencias políticas de la migración interna en Bolivia”, in which she analyzes the convergence of ethnic and class identities, as well as the role of migration in the new political landscape of Bolivia and other countries in the region. She also presented the main lines of her current research on conceptions of time in Andean societies, particularly among Quechua, Kichwa, and Aymara communities.
