Erasmus+ Europe

Within the ERASMUS+ Europe program, the Institute of Latin American Studies has cooperation agreements with universities in Spain (Barcelona, Madrid), Portugal (Coimbra), and France (Paris III, Paris IV). Students from the Institute can apply for a one or two semester study visit at one of these European partner universities. Students from these partner universities can also apply for a stay at the LAI at their own faculty.

The main advantages of a visit abroad with the ERASMUS+ program are:

  • Release of tuition payment at the host university;
  • Granting of a scholarship to study abroad through the home university;
  • Support in the preparation of the study visit by the home and host universities, as well as assistance by the host university during the ERASMUS stay
  • Academic accreditation of credits earned at the home university through ECTS (European Credit Transfer System).

General information about the ERASMUS+ program and about the application can be found on the ERASMUS office homepage. The ERASMUS manager of the Institute of Latin American Studies is available for questions about your ERASMUS stay during the weekly opening hours. On this page you will find information on the mobility of:

The ERASMUS stay should also be discussed with the Master's Coordination to clarify questions about credit approval.
