Erasmus+

Within the framework of the ERASMUS+ program, the LAI holds agreements with universities in Spain (Barcelona, Madrid), Portugal (Coimbra), France (Paris III, Paris IV), Poland (Warsaw), and the Netherlands (Leiden). LAI students can apply for a stay abroad at the European universities listed above for a period of one or two semesters.

Essential advantages of studying abroad with the Erasmus+ program and studying at an Erasmus+ partner university are:

  • Exemption from university fees;
  • Aid for study abroad granted by the university at the home country;
  • Support for preparation for the stay abroad by host and home universities, support by host university during the stay abroad;
  • Academic recognition and accreditation of courses completed at host university is executed by the home university via ECTS (European Credit Transfer System).

The ERASMUS contact person of the LAI will provide you with further information during his weekly office hours. The planned Erasmus stay should also be discussed beforehand with the M.A. coordination team to clarify the subject of recognition and accreditation of credit points.
