Going abroad!
LAI students are offered the opportunity to spend a semester abroad via Direktaustausch program as well as via internal LAI Convenios.

In each case, the stay abroad planning should be discussed with the master’s program coordination team and with the international affairs team in order to avoid complications and unnecessary study delays.
Important: All Students, who want to spend a semester/year abroad in a University, which is a cooperating partner of the the Freie Universität Berlin as well as of the Lateinamerika Institut, have to apply via direct exchange program (Direktaustausch).
