We are happy to announce that Alexandre Nogueira Martins, PhD fellow of the second generation at the International Research Training Group "Temporalities of Future", has successfully completed his doctorate in Sociology with the thesis "Defying Neoliberal Futures: Queer and Trans Struggles for Justice in Latin America" on November 7, 2025, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Sérgio Costa with the academic degree "summa cum laude".
