We are happy to announce that Ruby Mascarenhas, PhD fellow of the second generation at the International Research Training Group "Temporalities of Future", has successfully completed their doctorate in Anthropology with the thesis The Voyaging Venuses: Life stories of travesti, transformista and drag queen artists between Brazil and Germany (1950s-today) on November 13, 2025, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Stephanie Schütze with the academic degree "summa cum laude".
